Goldstone

Goldstone is one of the few synthetic stones used in energy work and magick. It may help with ambition, courage, having a positive attitude, stomach issues, and overcoming arthritis pains.

Red goldstone (pictured) is created by superheating silica (sand) into glass and mixing in iron oxide or even powdered copper. Blue and purple goldstones are made using cobalt or manganese while green goldstone uses chromium oxide. As the molten glass cools, flakes of mica are mixed in to give the stone its glittery look.
